Coba Education is working with a well-established SEN school inBedfordshire who are looking to take on a full-time, dedicated EBD Secondary Teacher to teach PE.
This exceptional School pride's themselves on being able to offer an appropriate curriculum that facilitates Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs for its students who are ranging in ability. The students range from those with moderate learning difficulties, autism and additional needs.

The school's teaching assistants provide excellent support for pupils and teachers with secondary-aged pupils making good progress across a range of subjects. The school prides itself on thoroughly preparing Year 11 pupils for transferring to the sixth form with in the school or leaving to attend college.

The successful candidate will be experienced in educating students with emotional and behavioural difficulties. The pupils have a range of additional challenges, including Autism, Asperger's, speech language and communication difficulties, dyslexia, dyspraxia and ADHD. These students are vulnerable and need that extra help and guidance to support them through school life.


This is a full time post with an ASAP start. The booking will initially be to the end of term but may be extended.

The school is looking for a highly capable EBD Teacher with: 

** Exceptional English & Literacy skills 
** UK QTS with excellent understanding of Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties
** Pride in their teaching and a willingness to work within a team 
** A passion for developing children with challenging needs
** The ability to uphold a focused & motivated class with creative lessons
** Excellent behaviour management skills
