A fantastic opportunity has arisen at a school in Bedfordshire as they are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Art Teacher to join their hard-working, friendly team.

The chosen individual should be creative with a desirable background in UK secondary education and the initiative to work individually with confident lesson plans and assessment management. This is a full-time, long-term role so applicants must be committed to a full timetable and accept all responsibilities of a classroom teacher. They request that all applicants hold QTS or NQT status and that they hold a passion and a dedication to the role of a teaching professional. This role has the opportunity for a permanent position.
Responsibilities of the role include:
** Planning and preparation of lessons, planning for variation to meet the needs of individual students at differing abilities
** Planning creative lessons which stimulate and engage pupils
** Attending staff meetings as and when required
** Marking work and monitoring the progress of each student
** Working effectively in a team building relationships with colleagues and students   
The chosen candidate will:
** Have strong behaviour management skills
** Be a qualified teacher or NQT
** Have experience working in a secondary school teaching Art to KS3 and KS4 students
** Be available for long-term work from Jan
